New Apartment in Waitakere City, Auckland, New Zealand

Jess and Dave lived in Hamilton, New Zealand the largest inland city on the North Island for the first two years of their marriage. After graduating from school, Dave landed a teaching job in Auckland and for six months he commuted (a 130 km drive one way each day). After six months they decided to move closer to Auckland and began looking for an apartment. I began searching for them and found this 2 bedroom apartment online.  Jessica said she was so sick of me sending her links for apartments, she almost didn't even look this one up That will teach her, LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER!"  It is a super nice apartment on the ground floor with a patio and an enclosed garage at a great price.

Jessica loves plants and we bought pots and plants most every day we went out. Those three big pots on the left we carried walking home about one mile!  Jess just HAD to have them and you know, bargain hunters that we are, they were on sale as well.

These ducks came by every day looking for food.  Most tenants feed them bread.
The day I made apple dumplings I found out that they loved apple peels as well.
Jess said about a week after I left they showed up with five little babies.
